Chicago Pedicure Services at Havana Nights Nails and Spa
A pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet and their nails, similar to a manicure. The word pedicure comes from the Latin words pedis, which means of the foot, and cura, which means care. It also means the care of the feet and toenails. A pedicure can help prevent nail diseases and nail disorders. Pedicures are not just limited to nails; usually dead skin cells on the bottom of feet are rubbed off using a rough stone called a pumice stone.

Chicago Pedicure Services at Havana Nights Nails and Spa

A Havana Nights pedicure is a beauty treatment for your feet. We carry five different nail polish brands: the classic OPI and Essie, and three nail polish brands that are eco-friendly: ZOYA, SPARITUAL and PROLANA. Our pedicurists will remove dead skin with our homemade brown sugar scrub, massage your feet and legs, soften hard skin and treat and shape your toenails, you will leave our salon as though you are walking on air. A pedicure can also give you better posture by enabling you to walk more comfortably.

Steps to the Havana Nights Mojito Pedicure

  • Fill pedicure basin with cool water.
  • Add a shot of Bacardi rum and lime juice to detoxify and cleanse feet.
  • Exfoliate feet and legs with a homemade mix of sugar and lime juice to buff away dry, lifeless skin.
  • Push back cuticles, clean nails, and remove excess and dead skin around the nails.
  • Rub lime wedges on the skin and toenails for a lightening effect.
  • Apply a mint-mask as a base, add fresh crushed mint leaves.
  • Massage legs and feet with lime lotion.
  • Trim, buff, and polish nails.

We use Bacardi rum, refined sugar, limes, club soda, and mint sprigs. The lime foot lotion is created by adding a few drops of lime peel essential oil to a Neaclear unscented foot lotion.
